I ... entered the poem of life, whose purpose is ... simply to witness the beauties of the world, to discover the many forms that love can take. (Barabara Blackman in 'Glass After Glass')

Approaching the Deadline

I think, you see, that we are,
now, at the End of Days —
whatever that will mean.

All is happening
according to prediction.
The signs are in the sky

and on the earth as well.
Go back and read again
not Revelations but Ramtha.

Always we have been told
we ourselves can create
our collective fate.

At this point I don’t know
which way the scales will tip,
the weights too vast to estimate.

But I know on which side
I am adding my weight.
And that is purpose enough.
